I don't quite understand why he didn't fight for her (it is only after typing this out that I realize the irony inherent in what i'm saying considering he lost her after competing in a fighting competition) and why she let a fat guy hold her hand first or why she married a dude old enough to be her father. They were never actually together wow. )O: Otherwise I love how the characters were so gauche and unvarnished and how the film captured a bunch of obstreperous teenagers fumbling gracelessly into adulthood which felt quite relevant I guess considering we're now done with IB and unfortunately I think I might handle my future maladroitly.
