amidst the flurry of things going awry at the very least i have music and although these concerts are far-off thinking about them makes me smile and for now that is enough and i do try not to look askance at everything else that happens around me. i realize that for death cab while listening to their songs i veer towards their older songs like title and registration and technicolor girls but for los campesinos! everything goes and i've watched some of their music videos so many times if i close my eyes while listening to their songs i can almost play out the video in full in my mind. top on the list of useless stuff i did today was to take a photo of my third favorite place at home (the first being my room the second being the kitchen) i like how my parents removed the hands from the clock and just kept its non-functional face hanging on the walland second on the non-exhaustive list was taking the time to take a picture of my right foot snug in its pump of furry knitted glory while rushing out of the house today. i have decided to pair these shoes with everything i own even though they hardly go with anything i wear out because my toes feel all sorts of happy when i wriggle them about and they swim about in tufts of wool. racking up points on my other list (the list of useful thingabobbies i did today) would be the completion of How To Read The Air and smelling and reading the first few pages of The Bell Jar and i have great expectations for the latter for who would expect any less from Plath (O:
