something that's been bugging me is the diametrically opposed distinction between the brain (thinking) and the heart (feeling) or rather just the association of the heart with emotion i really don't understand or see at all how that came about and this irks me
also i think it'd be awfully interesting to be a postman and get to see all the letters that get sent around everyday each one carrying a little piece of someone's heart in it and being the harbinger of something that might bring someone a moment of great great joy (a long awaited letter from an estranged friend or lover a favourite magazine subscription some product that was ordered online) or annoyance (a bill a rejection letter) and there is something about the concrete and tangible nature of the written word and the excitement of peeling open (or like me, ripping apart) an envelope while ruminating about its contents that an email or a text cannot replicate
